This contract is between: A49 Consultants (hereinafter referred
to as
( "The Company") and ..................................
A customer requesting The Company to attend to a computer
problem
(hereinafter referred to as "The Client") Whereby it is
agreed as follows: 1) The Company will provide Hardware,
Operating System, and Software support as required commencing
on payment of a deposit and agreement to this document and
with restrictions as detailed in all items below 2) The
Company will make its best endeavours on the Clients behalf
as required for the sum of £45 for the first hour
worked onsite plus an additional charge of £30 per
extra hour (in 30 minute increments). Work on the Clients
behalf cannot be commenced until the Company has received
cleared funds. 3) The Company will endeavour to attend at
a time agreed with the Client but the Company cannot be
held responsible for any losses the client may incur as
a direct or indirect result of the company's inability to
attend at or close to the specified time. 4) Should any
callout require the purchase of hardware/software/operating
system/software components to fix any situation arising
from it, then the Client will need to obtain such items
separately, either under warranty or by cash purchase from
the Company or from any other source of their choice. The
fitting of the new items unless they are immediately available
will be subject to a new contract. 5) This callout can be
terminated by the Client for any reason but is subject to
a cancellation fee of £10 plus any travel costs at
the rates stated in item 2 if the company has commenced
travelling to the Client6) Although the Company always endeavours
to maintain the Clients data whilst attending to the Clients
computers, the Company can accept no responsibility for
any loss of data or any consequences thereof. The Company
always advises clients to regularly back up data for its
own protection. 7) The Company will accept no responsibility
for the costs of any hardware faults developing in the Clients
computers whilst in the charge of the Company or at any
other time, other than parts supplied by the company and
still within their warranty period8) A Credit/Debit card
deposit is required to secure a callout but payments are
acceptable in cash or by cheque with bankers card to cover
the full amount. Credit/Debit card payments including cancellation
charges are subject to a 10% surcharge.
