Do I need software written for me?
If you've ever spent hours over generating figures for that
monthly report, month after month or you want to increase
staff productivity by letting them have exactly what they
need, when they need it then software written specifically
for your company may well be your best answer.
Can I really have what
I want?
When you have your own software expertly written then your
staff can have exactly what they need, in the way they need
it, when they need it. Lots of commercial software is written
from the point of view of the programmer, rather than the
view of the end user. Provided that you know what you need
then it can almost certainly be done.
Won't it be expensive?
In the long run it can save you a lot of money. Things done
more efficiently could save you employing extra staff and
give better service to your customers to help generate more
business. In the short term it may not be too expensive
either.
We know that things are different for different businesses
and requirements can change as projects develop, so rather
than giving an expensive quote with plenty of money built
in to cover things that may not happen, we simply charge
the time required to give exacly what you need. We keep
our hourly rate at the low price of £25 per hour.
For example:-
If it requires 9 hours 15 minutes to write a small program
that extracts data you need to give a monthly report, in
seconds rather than manually calculating it for hours, then
you just pay 9.25 x £25 = £231.25 and you have
it to use every month forever. If the report gets changed
and a new section added then your existing program can be
modified to incorporate the new requirements. Once again
for example:-
If it takes 1 hour 30 minutes to incorporate the new changes
then all you would pay is 1.5 x £25 = £37.50.
Obviously larger projects can cost substantially more, but
regardless of the size you only pay for what you need which
invariably leads to much lower project costs.
