8. I have just
installed a hard drive on my windows 95/98/ME based PC, It
has been detected in the the bios, but neither DOS nor windows
shows it so I can't use it. What is wrong?
Before you can use a new hard drive it needs
to be partitioned using FDISK (or similar) and then formatted
using the FORMAT command. Please see this section on preparing a new hard drive.
