5. I want to upgrade my motherboard.
How can I tell if I need an AT or ATX motherboard upgrade?
The way to check is where the power
supply joins the motherboard.
If it is ATX then it will have a power supply block of 10
long by 2 wide (20 wires). If it is AT then it will be a single
line of 12 wires (in 2 blocks).
The 2 are not directly compatible though there are some motherboards
that have both AT and ATX connections which of course are
therefore universal.
